Social security compliance service
Indonesian employment law required the employer to maintain its compliance with employment law provision, including social security dues coverage for retirement savings (additional to pension fund), accident, death, and health social security. We take care the compliance activities to conduct regular reporting and do calculation for monthly dues, liaise with social security agencies (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and BPJS Kesehatan) and dues payment arrangement.
BPJS Kesehatan (Health Social Security) is a compulsory health security program for the employer and employee. The company is obligated to register all its employee not only Indonesian but also expatriate when it’s met certain condition. The health social security program is providing healthcare medical coverage on the public clinic (Puskesmas) and public hospitals. BPJS Kesehatan program mechanism is through monthly dues payment and reporting. The monthly dues borne by employer and employee, while employee only pay a little portion of the dues. The dues determined by the employee salary amount and has certain maximum amount.
BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Employment Social Security) is a compulsory employment social security program. BPJS Ketenagakerjaan provide compensation on accident during the work (Jaminan Kecelakaan Kerja), compensate on death (Jaminan Kematian), and employee savings for retirement age (Jaminan Hari Tua). BPJS Ketenagakerjaan mechanism is through the payment of dues and monthly reporting. The dues are paid on certain percentage of salary.
Company shall also report to the local government for compulsory reporting for the remuneration of its employee and facilities on its office on annual basis.
Expatriate compliance service
For the company which employe expatriate or foreign national employee, it is mandatory to pay on Dana Pengembangan Keahlian dan Ketrampilan “DPKK” (Skills and Expertise Development Fund) before apply for work permit for its foreign national employee.
Work permit for foreign nationals are release under certain procedures. Very first step, company submit the RPTKA (Rencana Penggunaan Tenaga Kerja Asing or Foreign Nationals Employment Plan) to related goverment office and must filing employment report to the logal government. The size of company’s capital and employees number are one of the importance aspects on the application of work permit.
